Matt Riddle is staying a trending topic in WWE these days, both in and out of the ring. The latest is that he's not got a fan in Baron Corbin. It may not be personal, but Corbin is not pleased with WWE's decision to use The King as Riddle's first victim.

According to Gary Cassidy of Sportskeeda Wrestling, Corbin only recently found out WWE was going to use him as a stepping-stool for Riddle who debuted on the blue brand last week. Whether this issue is connected to Riddle being embroiled in #SpeakingOut controversy or it's simply a matter of Corbin believing it's too soon to give Riddle such a huge push, The King is apparently not pleased.

According to the report, Corbin is insisting that Riddle should have to go through "five enhancement talents" before being programmed against him. It's an interesting take considering Riddle picked up a clean pinfall win over AJ Styles in his debut and he's got a history with the NXT brand that already proves he's a fairly big name.

That said, plans seem to be in WWE to put Riddle in a continued program with Corbin, one that would see Riddle get the win and elevate him up the SmackDown totem pole.  Speculation is that Corbin is seeing this as a bit of an insult considering he's been one of SmackDown's top heels for some time and this decision could keep him out of the main event scene on that brand.
