While he was advertised for the Raw Reunion show, former WWE Superstar and WWE Champion Sid Vicious was nowhere to be found. There are finally reports surfacing as to why he wasn't there.

WWE didn't let any of the fans know Vicious wasn't going to be in attendance but it was reported that the company knew for days prior to the event the former WWE Champion wasn't going to make it. Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio noted that Sid pulled out of the show a number of days ago.

Meltzer claims this is why Viscious was not part of any of the marketing material that was present at the event. From shirts to other merchandise, Sid was not part of the program while non-advertised stars like Rob Van Dam were. The only way this would have worked is if WWE knew Sid wasn't going to be there before they started printing things or doing up the graphic design work.

What This Means

There’s no word yet on why Sid backed out of the show. The running joke is that he might have had a softball game (he's a big softball player). And, in the end, Sid wasn't likely a big part of the plans for the show. He might have been used in a 24/7 segment or as one of the many stars to come out in a group of other stars.

Out of the many stars advertised for Monday's RAW Reunion special, Sid was the only person not to make the show. That's a pretty good ratio when you consider how many of the stars are older and many of them failed physicals removing them from portions of the show that had been planned for them.

The show looked like a lot of fun despite Sid not being involved.
