It sounds like it won't be long until fans are back at WWE events again.

Recently, it was reported by Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men podcast that WWE was planning to return to touring for July 16-19, and that fans would be at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view (scheduled for July 18, location to be announced).

On Wrestling Observer Live (h/t Paul Davis of WrestlingNews.co), Bryan Alvarez confirmed Zarian's report.

Alvarez reported that Money in the Bank will indeed have fans, and that there will be a live crowd for the Money in the Bank go-home episode of SmackDown (July 16), and for the ensuing episode of Raw (July 19).

Zarian also reported that there will be different stages and entranceways when for both shows. Alvarez added that "there may be mildly limited capacity."

WWE has yet to announce any plans regarding a return to touring. As noted above, a location for the Money in the Bank pay-per-view hasn't been revealed yet.

It's also worth noting that WWE has the Yuengling Center as its ThunderDome location until August. If they return to touring in mid-July, it's possible that WWE will move out of there earlier than initially scheduled.

WWE is also also reportedly planning to bring back fans for the SummerSlam pay-per-view. Like Money in the Bank, a location hasn't been announced for that show.

WrestleMania 37 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, Florida marked the first WWE event with a live crowd since the March 11, 2020 episode of NXT.

In a recent earnings call, WWE Chief Financial Officer Kristina Salen stated that the company hopes to return to touring in the second half of 2021.

Fans Will Be Back Sooner Rather Than Later

It obviously won't be long until we see live crowds again. It remains to be seen how often we'll see fans at live shows over the next few months, and it's anybody's guess when WWE will return to a regular touring schedule again.
