It didn't take Dominik Mysterio long to make a giant impact in WWE, and big plans appear to be on the horizon for the young superstar.

According to PWInsider (h/t Louis Dangoor of WrestleTalk), Dominik is regarded as one of the marquee superstars on Monday Night Raw. The plan, apparently, is to continue his big push.

PWInsider also noted that Rey Mysterio's son "is considered in the top 25 percent...in the top three or four babyfaces on the Raw brand."

Rey suffered a torn triceps injury at the Payback pay-per-view, where he and Dominik defeated Seth Rollins and Murphy in a tag team bout. The good news is that it wasn't a full tear, and Mysterio will not require surgery.

The belief is that Rey will only be out of action for four to six more weeks. In the meantime, WWE has continued to build towards Dominik's big push; he defeated Murphy in a Street Fight on this week's episode of Raw, receiving some help from his parents and sister to pick up his first victory in a singles match.

Last week, Dominik faced Rollins (his opponent at SummerSlam) in a qualifier, with the winner taking part in a triple threat match to determine Drew McIntyre's opponent for Clash of Champions. The Architect managed to defeat Dominik, but Randy Orton wound up winning the triple threat match against Rollins and Keith Lee to set up another match with McIntyre.

WWE won't place Dominik in the main event spotlight right away, of course. For now, expect him to continue working with his father in the tag team/mid-card division.

What's Next For Dominik?

While the Mysterios were attacking Murphy, Rey looked into the camera and warned Rollins about payback. It certainly looks as though the Rey-Dominik and Murphy-Rollins program isn't over just yet. But again, Rey won't be able to wrestle for a few more weeks, so don't be surprised if Dominik has some more singles matches against Murphy and/or Rollins.
