Rhea Ripley has asked WWE legend Mick Foley to "stay in your lane" following some Twitter action on Wednesday.

The Hall of Famer was made to back down quickly after engaging a user, telling the fan that Ripley will be a future WWE champion if she adjusts her attitude just a bit.

The fan had jokingly asked who Ripley is, suggesting that she might be a valet or Uber driver. And Foley responded by saying: "Well, actually Rhea Ripley is a future @WWE champion IF she adjusts her attitude a wee bit."

Just a little over an hour later, Foley took to Twitter again to backtrack on his statement regarding the NXT UK star's attitude.

"Let me put to rest the rumor (started by me an hour ago) that you need to adjust your attitude a wee bit," he said. "In truth, I hear AMAZING things about your attitude. I see you as a future Raw or SmackDown Live champion and a MAJOR player for years to come."

Ripley eventually dropped in on the conversation.

"That’s right, get back in your lane old man... Your days have passed, I am the now and the future," she tweeted. "So you can just sit there in your trackies and your flannel shirts and admire my work."

Another fan would accuse The Hardcore Legend of "shilling" for Vince McMahon, but he put up a staunch denial.

What This Means

Mick seemed desperate not to get on Rhea's bad side with his claim but she took it in good stride, with a neat comeback that should leave him feeling slightly more regretful.

As for her attitude, there's a guy who wrestles every now and then who is known for adjusting those - Foley should probably have a chat.
