Ric Flair was thrown a surprise party for his 70th birthday this weekend and the guest list was an incredibly impressive one.

During the summer of 2017, the world came incredibly close to losing perhaps the greatest professional wrestler of all time. Ric Flair was rushed to hospital and we later discovered was given a 20% chance of survival. The Nature Boy was in a coma for a number of days and there were times when it felt as if he might not make a recovery.

Fast forward a year and a half and not only is Naitch still with us, but he has made a full recovery. According to the 16-time World Champion, he is currently doing better than ever. He's living a much healthier lifestyle and has all but given up alcohol, aside from the odd special occasion. Flair had one of those special occasions over the weekend.

Unbeknownst to him, there was a surprise party being held in honor of his 70th birthday in Atlanta on Friday night. When Naitch arrived, he was greeted by dozens of his closest family and friends. Flair has made a lot of the latter over the course of his career, and that made for an incredibly impressive guest list at said party.

From the wrestling world, the likes of Chris Jericho, Triple H, Ricky Steamboat, Shane McMahon, and, of course, his daughter Charlotte Flair were in attendance. A man this famous has expanded beyond the world of pro wrestling, however. Dennis Rodman was also at the party, as was legendary boxer Evander Holyfield, plus, comedian and avid wrestling fan Ron Funches.

Flair was not only in Atlanta for one party though, and the celebrations are far from over. This Monday night The Nature Boy will be in attendance on Raw to further ring in his 70th birthday. It might not be as happy an occasion as his regular, celebrity-filled party, though. The assumption is that Flair's celebrations will likely involve some sort of clash between his daughter, Becky Lynch, and Ronda Rousey. If so, we say bring on the chaos and we look forward to seeing Flair back on Raw.
