Paying a visit to RightToCensor.com will redirect fans to AEW's website for some bizarre but very entertaining reason.

WWE and AEW may vociferously deny that the opposing companies are at war, and in most ways, they are telling the truth. However, when it comes to trademarking brands and owning certain IPs, the companies are basically at each other's throats. Cody still isn't allowed to use his last name on TV, while AEW has been picking up old WCW trademarks that WWE has let lapse.

If someone were to tally up the number of trademark wins since the war began, chances are WWE would be winning right now. Vince McMahon has managed to keep hold of WarGames, Starrcade, and even rubbed the Great American Bash in Cody's face last month. However, when it comes to inventiveness, AEW may have just picked up the biggest win of the war so far.

We're not entirely sure how someone first discovered this, but visitors to RightToCensor.com are being redirected to AEW's homepage. For younger fans who have no idea what we're talking about right now, RTC was a faction in WWE during the early 2000s. Their goal was to censor anything and everything profane in WWE and it featured Ivory, The Goodfather, and Steven Richards, among others.

It's unclear how exactly this has happened. There's a chance that AEW bought the lapsed domain name and went about creating a fun little easter egg for wrestling fans. Plus, as can be seen above, the site's address is still flaunted in archive footage on the WWE Network. Anyone watching old episodes of Raw featuring the faction might wonder where the site leads today, and discover that it takes them to AEW.com should they decide to find out.

There's also a chance that this has nothing to do with AEW at all. That a fan with some extra cash floating around decided to buy up the domain name and play a little joke. The domain is registered to someone living in Ohio and was registered a little more than a month ago. That means it will lead to AEW's website until at least July 2021, at which point it will lapse again if not renewed by its mystery owner.
