The Rock recently revealed what he would do at the end of every single match he had, no matter if he was about to win or lose.

SmackDown recently celebrated its 1000th episode. With how much WWE tends to favor Raw over the blue brand, it's sometimes easy to forget how important SmackDown has been to WWE's history. It has played host to countless epic matches and housed some of the best WWE Superstars of the past two decades.

For starters, let's not forget who the show was named after. The Rock was the first man in WWE to ever use the phrase SmackDown, we're assuming before it was ever used as the name for one of the company's top shows. During the blue brand's early years, The People's Champ was very much the focal point of SmackDown.

RUMOR: WWE IS THINKING ABOUT HAVING THE ROCK FACE BOBBY LASHLEY AT WRESTLEMANIA 35

One of Rock's early moments on SmackDown was posted on Twitter this week. Highlights from a one on one match the surefire Hall Of Famer had against Bubba Ray Dudley during an episode of SmackDown that was taped all the way back on March 21, 2000. During the clip, we see Rock knock out both Dudleys with the ring bell, send D-Von through a table, and eventually beat Bubba after giving him a People's Elbow.

The Great One actually saw the tweet and has responded to it. Rock revealed that if you watch closely, you can see him lower his head towards Bubba as he goes in for the cover. Apparently, he said "thank you brother." The former WWE Champion then revealed that he would say that to every single one of his opponents at the end of a match, no matter if he won or lost.

As if The Rock wasn't already one of the most likable people in the world, let alone the wrestling business, he goes and reveals this little gem. As much as we love how big a star he has become, the selfish part of us wishes that we had him back in WWE fulltime all to ourselves. Hopefully, he will return sometime soon and perhaps have a match at next year's WrestleMania. If so, we wonder who he will be thanking that night.
