The Saudi General Sports Authority is apparently offering WWE and The Rock $20 million to appear as WWE Champion at a show in Saudi Arabia next year.

It may be unclear right now exactly how much money WWE is making from its partnership with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, but rest assured, it's a lot. Otherwise, the company wouldn't have the money to throw at stars like Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker, and Shawn Michaels to make them fly halfway across the world for one night.

The amount of money being thrown Vince McMahon's way is also enough for him and WWE to forget about the women in the company, at least for two shows a year. Saudi Arabian laws mean that women are not allowed to perform in the ring. WWE claims that it is trying to instigate change in the Middle Eastern nation on that front, but until we see that change then it's hard to get on board.

While the Saudi General Sports Authority apparently has no interest in seeing female wrestlers perform, it does want to see The Rock. At least according to a report from Wrestling-Edge. In fact, the Saudi Prince who apparently makes the demands for WWE's shows in his country is allegedly offering up $20 million for an appearance from The People's Champ, as long as he arrives in Saudi Arabia as WWE Champion.

Rock as a World Champion in WWE by the time the third Saudi Arabian show rolls around would actually make sense. There is speculation that The Great One will return to the ring at WrestleMania 35 to take on his cousin, Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship. If WWE heads to Saudi Arabia right after WrestleMania like it did last year then expect Rock to win that match if it happens.

To put the alleged $20 million price tag into perspective, compare it to the amount WWE is apparently offering Rock to appear at WrestleMania 35 and SummerSlam 2019. If the surefire Hall Of Famer has indeed agreed to those two dates, he will apparently bag himself $4 million. Not bad. However, he may very well be being offered five times that for one night in Saudi Arabia. Truly mind-boggling if true.
