Ricochet was booked to be part of the DX, O.C. Kliq segment on the Raw Reunion show but due to an injury was replaced by Seth Rollins.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE Superstar Ricochet was scheduled to have huge role at the WWE RAW Reunion show this past Monday night. He didn't because an elbow infection was keeping him from taking part in any physical activity on the show. As such, he was replaced by Seth Rollins.

Once Ricochet was out, Rollins faced WWE U.S. Champion AJ Styles in a one-on-one match that broke down into a near attacked by The Club (now rebranded The O.C.) Before they could jump Rollins, DX (Shawn Michaels and Triple H) came in for the save. Styles, Gallows, and Anderson were not done and grabbed chairs. That brought down The Kliq and to which Rollins joined for one night, essentially taking the place of AEW's Billy Gunn.

Rollins entire involvement in that segment was meant for Ricochet and the idea was that an endorsement by DX would be good for him moving forward.

What This Means

This would have been a big spot for Ricochet and its unfortunate that he couldn't be a part of it. It's an indication that WWE must have plans for him and his battle with The O.C. is far from over.

Rollins involvement worked in the short term because there is no expectation he'll continue to work with The O.C. on a feud going forward and a fun segment doesn't need to be anything more than that.

It's not know how long Ricochet will be out of action. He did take part in live events this past weekend and hopefully, his injury is not all that serious.
