Roman Reigns will get another crack at Brock Lesnar's Universal Championship at SummerSlam, and we now know what to expect in the weeks following their big match.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is planning to roll with Reigns vs. Braun Strowman in the upcoming Raw main events. Meltzer added that the two superstars"could go face vs. face, but that indicates at least the possibility of one of the two turning" heel.

Meltzer has previously noted that the signs point towards Reigns beating Lesnar at SummerSlam, only for Strowman to cash in his Money in the Bank contract, and thus likely leaving as the new Universal Champion.

Strowman is set to defend his MITB contract in a singles match against Kevin Owens, but there haven't been any indications backstage that WWE is planning to have The Monster Among Men lose the briefcase. Thus, fans truly should expect Reigns and Strowman to rekindle their old rivalry.

Reigns and Strowman were the last two men standing in the 2018 Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. The Big Dog last pinned Strowman to book his Universal Championship match vs. Lesnar at WrestleMania 34.

Strowman's first singles loss via pinfall came against Reigns at the 2017 Fastlane pay-per-view, and their rivalry would only escalate from then on out. This included Strowman flipping over an ambulance that Reigns was in. The latter returned the favor at Great Balls of Fire by locking Strowman inside an ambulance and crashing it into a production truck.

Because the WWE Universe has notably cheered against Reigns for several years, Strowman got the babyface treatment from fans during his attacks on The Big Dog. This essentially forced the creative team to turn Strowman for once.

Reigns and Strowman gave fans plenty of epic matches and memorable segments during their last rivalry. Now, we'll simply sit back and watch how it all unfolds as we await the rekindling of this rivalry.
