So Roman Reigns nearly killed one of the cameramen working on the set of Hobbs & Shaw during a scene.

The WWE superstar landed a role alongside his cousin, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson while taking time out to battle leukemia and headed to Hawaii to take part in the filming.

What should have been a bit of cousinly fun well-nigh turned into the scene of an investigation as The Big Dog ended up rendering a poor cameraman unconscious by accidentally hitting him with a blunt instrument.

This is all according to The Rock, who recalled the event right in front of a grinning Reigns who didn't dare deny.

“We are rehearsing a scene, and it’s a big scene where both of us are supposed to take our clubs over our heads and throw," Johnson explained (transcribed by Ringside News). "They say, ‘Okay guys there are a lot of people around - no need to throw the club.’ Got it [Roman]? Got it brotha, no need to throw the club.

“I pretend to throw my club and I hear ‘OH MY GOD’ I turn around, the f**king cameraman is knocked out.”

The Rock added that everyone looked at him after the incident, mainly because it was his cousin who knocked the poor guy out.

Fortunately, the cameraman wasn't seriously hurt and turned out to be okay, so everyone can laugh about it now.

Reigns has since returned to WWE, having announced the big comeback in February after having to relinquish the Universal title in October of last year. His valiant efforts have been recognized, with the wrestler winning the award for Best WWE Moment at the ESPYs earlier this month.

As for Hobbs & Shaw, the Fast & Furious spinoff also starring Jason Statham is set for an August 2 release. Reigns plays the role of The Rock's brother in the movie and this is likely the start to even bigger things where a Hollywood career is concerned.
