On Wednesday evening, UFC president Dana White announced that WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar is heading back to the octagon, which immediately hinted that he'd be leaving professional wrestling as a whole.

There's plenty of reason to believe that the clock is really ticking on Lesnar's WWE career. Multiple reports have said that his contract expires after WrestleMania 34 this Sunday, though Dave Meltzer has mentioned that clauses in the deal could keep the Beast Incarnate here through the summer. There are no reports about WWE signing Lesnar to a new deal at this time.

So how does Lesnar's WrestleMania opponent, Roman Reigns, feel aboutthe Universal Champion possibly heading back to UFC? He did an interview with the New York Post to discuss his take.

“Not only will it help fuel this fire between Brock and I, it will get some truth that needs to be said a little bit. Some people need to hear this stuff because this has kind of been a thing. Brock’s not the only part-time guy," Reigns said. "But there are a lot of full-time guys that are never gonna, as a collective, reach our potentials if we are dominated in this portion of the year by part-time guys.”

It's safe to say that plenty of Reigns' fellow superstars will agree on that take. Lesnar only has to work a fraction of the schedule these full-timers do, but he's been Raw's main event draw for six years now. Though the match itself is scripted, Reigns seems to be ensuring that the match will get personal.

Reigns and Lesnar faced off in the main event of WrestleMania 31, but Seth Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank contract, pinned the Big Dog and became the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. What would it mean for Reigns if he finally conquered the beast?

“It wouldn’t only be huge for me. It would be huge for this whole locker room. This is a team thing that we do and I represent this new generation.”

Reigns already took down The Authority, "retired" The Undertaker for a year and now gets the chance to possibly send Lesnar out of the WWE as the new Universal Champion. Sunday in New Orleans promises to be a sight to behold.
