Next month WWE will be holding a first-ever event in Saudi Arabia that they're calling the "Greatest Royal Rumble". A 50-man, over-the-top-rope elimination match that will feature the biggest names in WWE is sure to draw a huge crowd in the Middle East where WWE is working hard to grow its audience. One current Superstar thinks the show could be more than big.

During an appearance on "The Jim and Sam Show" on SiriusXM, current WWE megastar Roman Reigns spoke about the event and spilled the beans a bit regarding plans WWE may have in the works for the event and how it will be connected to the WWE Network. Reigns said, "Hopefully I'm not giving spoilers here, but I believe it's going to be a huge Network special."

If true, this WWE Network special will come on the heels of WWE's biggest show of the year — WrestleMania 34 — and will take place at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on April 27th. For the North American audience used to seeing most of WWE's events take place in the United States or Canada, the WWE Network will be the one place fans can still view such a historic event.

WWE signed a 10-year agreement with the Saudi General Sports Authority and this is their first event under that agreement. Going all out to make the show a huge success and get the partnership started on the proper footing, WWE is including names like Reigns, John Cena, Triple H, AJ Styles, Braun Strowman, The New Day, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt, and Shinsuke Nakamura. All have been officially announced and advertised for the show.

Reigns may be letting fans in the WWE Universe know something WWE was intending to share, so this may not be a problem. That said, he may have let the cat out of the bag a bit early. If WWE is intending to air the event live on WWE Network, it could be a hugely successful original program and lead to further events of its kind being shared on the digital platform.
