Ronda Rousey and Ruby Riott, as expected, are officially set to face each other at the WWE's Elimination Chamber in a little over a week's time.

The event, which takes place at the Toyota Center in Houston Texas on February 17, will see Rousey defend her Raw Women's Championship against the Riott Squad member following her demolition of Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan on Raw this past Monday.

A very angry Rousey vented by forcing the duo to tap out of her armbar in separate contests after Becky Lynch refused to get her injury checked out by WWE personnel, ultimately leading to her suspension. But Ruby wisely kept her distance after watching her cohorts get dominated by The Baddest Woman on the Planet.

Instead, they clashed on Twitter following a backstage speech in which Riott claimed she can and will defeat Rousey, but only for her belt. She has since been handed the opportunity to do so.

At the WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, Ruby Riott will dare to step into the squared circle against Ronda Rousey, with the Raw Women’s Championship on the line, in the hopes of reading the Riott act to the fierce titleholder before she can ever set foot onto The Grandest Stage of Them All.

Incidentally, The Riott Squad made their WWE debut at the very venue and all three members have earned a chance to walk away with silverware as they will also be involved in a six-team tag match for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship in which they will face the following pairs: Nia Jax and Tamina, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville, The IIconics, Sasha Banks and Bayley, Naomi and Carmella.

What This Means

The former UFC star has successfully defended her title on seven prior occasions and will look to do it an eighth time.

Alexa Bliss, Nikki Bella, Mickie James, Nia Jax, Natalya, Sasha Banks, and Bayley have all tried their hand in attempts to separate her from the belt, but they have all failed.

The Rowdy one is already set to face Lynch at WrestleMania in a championship match so it's very likely that she comes out on top next weekend.
