There's all sorts of buzz Ronda Rousey may return to WWE at some point. If and when she does, you can bet she's going to try to come up with a solution to deal with the travel and inability to recuperate while on the road.

The fact that WWE talent aren't logging ungodly minutes on the road is actually a plus if you're one of the many fans who'd like to see Rousey return. Whether she appears at the Royal Rumble or shows up for the road to WrestleMania, the reason sooner than later might be an option for a return is because she hates the traveling.

The former Raw Women’s Champion did an interview with Digital Spy while promoting World of Warcraft: Shadowlands and said she didn't miss the brutal travel schedule that all wrestlers have to do while under contract in WWE. Rousey said, “I love wrestling but I think it was maybe Sarah Rowe (Sarah Logan) who told me this, she wrestles for free but they pay her to travel." She added, "The hardest part I think was just not being able to lay down horizontally, you know. Taking a bunch of hard bumps, your back hurts and you just want to lay down."

Rousey explained that during her last run, all she wanted to do was lay down. She didn't hate the bumps, but that she could rest or stretch out after taking those bumps was the worst. “... you’re just sitting upright all the time and my back would kill me," she said.

"So the actual act of traveling I do not miss it all, it was the absolute worse,” Rousey notes.

Does This Yes or No For Rousey in WWE?

Obviously, Rousey isn't going to say if there are plans for her to return to WWE. And, just because she says she loves her mattress at home, it doesn't mean she's not prone to taking some of WWE's money to make an appearance or two if it means she's not traveling on a regular basis.

These comments don't necessarily lend themselves to the idea that she'll be back soon, but it's still hard to rule it out. Especially if WWE feels their ratings are dropping.
