Much of the WWE spotlight is on Ronda Rousey right now, amid rumors that she's going to go on hiatus after WrestleMania - and after she seemingly relinquished the Raw Women's Championship on Monday.

But as WrestleMania 35 nears - along with Rousey's rumored leave - it sounds like the Baddest Woman on the Planet isn't all that happy right now. Felix Upton of Ringside News is reporting that "any sense that Ronda Rousey is growing frustrated with WWE is legitimate."

Rousey voiced her displeasure with the McMahon family, management and the WWE on last week's episode of Raw, which prompted her to seemingly give up her championship. Though that was all done in storyline, it turns out that Rousey may actually feel that way in reality as well.

This report from Ringside News comes after Rousey made headlines for saying in her vlog that though she loves her job with the WWE, she doesn't "need it at all." It's easy to believe that those remarks were also done in character by Rousey, but again, they also seem to speak some truth in terms of how she feels about her place in WWE.

It was recently reported by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Rousey is expected to leave WWE after WrestleMania. But in a statement to TMZ, WWE said that she is under contract until Apr. 10, 2021. Rousey has talked about wanting to start a family with husband Travis Browne, so perhaps that's why she's believed to be taking a leave after the big show.

But Rousey has plenty of money and could easily find new gigs elsewhere, so if she's unhappy in WWE, there's good reason to think she might end up leaving. Rousey was speaking the truth when she said she doesn't "need" to be in WWE. It'll be interesting to see how these next few months play out for the Raw Women's Champion.

What This Means

Although Rousey could be unhappy in WWE, it's important to remember that she's under contract for two more years. It's hard to see Rousey giving up after just one year in the wrestling industry. If she's not dissatisfied with her position right now, it's up to WWE to find a way in making her happy again.
