It appears WWE is pushing the beginnings of a Four Horsewomen angle as Ronda Rousey got into what might be described as a heated social media exchange with Sasha Banks and Bayley on Instagram.

A photo Bayley shared on Instagram of herself with Sasha Banks on Thursday she tagged with "Changing da game - Boss N Hug Connection" drew a  response in the comments section from Ronda Rousey. Rousey simply wrote, "The Baddest Woman on the Planet" replied in the comments, "fauxhorsewomen."

The women then started going back and forth with Banks referencing Rousey's upcoming SummerSlam match with Alexa Bliss, writing, "I hope Alexa wins (hahaha)." Bayley then got in on the action saying to Rousey, "tell your girls to get some ring gear. We're waiting."

Bayley is, of course, referencing the earlier rumors that WWE might want to promote a Four Horsewomen of WWE versus Four Horsewomen of MMA match. The WWE side would include Banks, Bayley, Charlotte and Becky Lynch, while the MMA side would be led by Rousey and include Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir.

If this is something WWE moves ahead with, they can now that all eight female competitors are employed by WWE in some capacity. Rousey and the women on the WWE side are atop the Women's Division in WWE, while Baszler is the NXT Women's Champion. Duke and Shafir are part of the developmental system and while that might not be the best situation for including them in a main roster match, under the umbrella of an eight-woman tag match, any lack of in-ring technical skill could be easily hidden.

This feud has been teased by WWE since the Mae Young Classic last year when seven of the eight rumored members went face to face backstage. It would certainly be a draw for WWE and highly promoted by media if this match were to take place at a WWE event down the road.
