Ronda Rousey Hints She's Taking Time Away From WWE To Have A Child In Bold Instagram Post

The Baddest Woman on the Planet could soon be the baddest mom on the planet after hinting that she could be planning to get pregnant in an Instagram post this week.

Rousey, who lost the Raw Women's title to Becky Lynch at WrestleMania earlier this month, was reportedly scheduled to have surgery on a broken hand suffered during the match and could potentially miss the remainder of the year. But she seems like she's also keen on starting a family with her husband, Travis Browne, and has basically told fans that she's on holiday trying to get pregnant.

The former UFC champion posted a photo of herself and Travis sharing a kiss along with the caption: "#impregnationvacation" on Monday, while ESPN is also reporting that a source has told Ramona Shelburne that the wrestler is "taking a hiatus from WWE to start a family".

Rumors of Rousey possibly quitting WWE to start a family with her husband surfaced in January but she made sure to address them.

"I honestly don't know why [anyone] feels like [they're] an authority to speak on the plans for my uterus," she told ESPN back then. "If I responded every single time the world speculated what I was doing with my womb I would not have a free moment in the day.

"I really don't feel like I should have to respond to that kind of thing. Leave me and my reproductive organs alone."

Meanwhile, Rousey's reception since she joined WWE has been a mixed bag. While she's undoubtedly an impressive in-ring competitor, the 32-year-old is often criticized for her work with the mic, although a recent heel turn seemed to make things a bit better.

She played part in the first women's main event at WrestleMania 35 but was pinned by Lynch, who snatched both the Raw and SmackDown women's belts with the victory.

There was always a feeling that we might not see much of Ronda following the PPV and, judging from her post, she seems set on becoming a mother.

What This Means

Rousey would have probably been away from the ring in any case, considering the reports over her sustaining a broken hand. But we'll just have to wait on confirmation from either herself or WWE as it relates to her immediate future with the company.
