Ronda Rousey made sure there was no big upset to close out Evolution and remains undefeated in her WWE career.

When there were first rumors that WWE was considering a Ronda Rousey versus Nikki Bella match, the fanbase rolled its collective eyes. However, the two of them plus Brie Bella have managed to draw us in. Well, most of us at least. The pair's WWE Evolution build was capped off with a slap heard around the world from Bella to Rousey on Raw last week.

Hit Rousey that hard, even in a world where she would have known about it beforehand, and you're going to pay. The Rowdy One promised that much as she kept her cool and left the ring following the strike. Rousey certainly did that, but it wasn't as one-sided as some of her previous matches have been.

In fairness to Rousey, some of that was down to Bella's twin at ringside. Every single chance she got, Brie involved herself in the match. Not only did it wear down Rousey, but it also gave Nikki extra opportunities. That's why she managed to hit the champ with her finisher, the Rack Attack 2.0. That was undoubtedly Bella's trump card and when it didn't work, she was out of ideas.

Nikki even ventured to the top rope. Big mistake. After taking a split second too long, Rousey dragged her down and grabbed her arm. Once the former UFC Champion shows the fans that arm, you know that it's game over. Like everyone else Rousey has faced so far in WWE, Bella tapped to the armbar seconds after her opponent had synched it in, thus retaining the Raw Women's Title.

After the match, Rousey celebrated with most of the women's locker room in the entrance way. Notice we said most, not all. The Bellas had obviously returned to the locker room, and Nia Jax was watching on a monitor in the back, presumably scouting who she will be facing soon. We also couldn't see Becky Lynch among the sea of faces. At least we hope she wasn't there to be in keeping with her heel persona.
