It's been reported for a while now that Ronda Rousey will go on hiatus from wrestling after WrestleMania 35 - where she'll defend the Raw Women's Championship in a triple-threat match against Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch.

It hasn't been confirmed yet by Rousey or WWE if she is indeed planning to take a lengthy absence from the ring. She has talked about wanting to start a family with husband Travis Browne, which could be a possible reason for her going on hiatus.

But if Rousey ends up sticking around, there will be some big plans in store for both her and Lynch. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t Ringside News), Lynch would likely defeat the Baddest Woman on the Planet "in a singles match down the line," should Rousey end up staying past WrestleMania.

Dave Meltzer of the Observer was first to report that Rousey was going to leave WWE after 'Mania. TMZ later reached out to WWE for comment, and they said she is signed with the company through Apr. 10, 2021. In regards to possibly going on hiatus to start a family, WWE called it "a private matter."

Of course, Lynch is heavily expected to end up winning the championship at WrestleMania - given her status as the biggest babyface in WWE right now. That could set the stage for Rousey to take a leave, while Lynch would likely continue her program with Charlotte.

Rousey's first year in the WWE has been a massive success thus far, but as the fans began to heavily favor Lynch, the company had no choice but to finally turn her heel. Rousey has excelled in that role, and given how much she's accomplished here in WWE thus far, it's hard to envision her leaving the company for good. If anything else, it would be a temporary break.

What This Means

Well, we'll continue to wait and see what happens after WrestleMania - and if Rousey sticks around. The only thing we are positive about is Lynch taking the title at WrestleMania. The aftermath is simply anybody's guess, though.
