After rumors surfaced Ronda Rousey might be leaving WWE following WrestleMania 35, she quickly responded with comments that put those rumors to rest.

Earlier on Friday, with uncertainty regarding her contract details, it was rumored Rousey might be departing WWE after the company's biggest show of the year. Before Rousey shot back, to squash those rumors, a WWE spokesperson went through TMZ.com to report a response:

"Ronda Rousey is under contract with WWE until April 10, 2021. Whether she wants to start a family is a private matter."

While Rousey herself wouldn't normally respond to a typical rumor, clearly, this one upset her and likely because WWE felt the need to have to clarify things. During an interview with ESPNW, Rousey responded:

"I honestly don't know why [anyone] feels like [they're] an authority to speak on the plans for my uterus. If I responded every single time the world speculated what I was doing with my womb I would not have a free moment in the day."

The response doesn't really answer the question about what her plans are for WWE or when she'll start a family — if she chooses to do so — but it's clear Rousey does not believe it's anyone's business to talk about her life outside WWE and as it pertains to her desire to be a mother or get pregnant. Paired with WWE's response, she's not going anywhere and she's got a commitment left to fill.

Obviously offended, she added, "It's my vagina, my life, keep the speculations to yourself. Leave me and my reproductive organs alone." She then clarified that she has no idea what's coming next. "I've not kept it a secret that I would definitely want to start a family," Rousey said. "But how do you go about doing that? I love this way more than I thought that I would."

She said she's been thinking about all sorts of scenarios including temporarily stopping so she can focus on having a baby, putting the idea of a family on pause to focus on WWE or understanding that she could let whatever were to happen, happen.

"It would be kind of cool to just keep acting and then one day, 'Hey, surprise twist, I'm pregnant.' That would be fun. There's a lot of things up in the air. A lot of decisions that we've gotta make as a family. I'm trying to figure it out as I go along."

What This Means

Rousey didn't deny the idea she'd be taking a break from WWE, but she clearly isn't leaving for good. So, while the company still has its top female star for the next two years, this could mean that WWE has no idea what to expect either and that might make it hard to plan around the uncertainty.

If what Rousey says is accurate, WWE needs to have a backup plan ready to go. But, for all we know, she's trolling everyone with her comments about popping up pregnant. After all, if she's upset people are talking about her uterus, that's one way to fire back.
