The rivalry between Raw Women's champion Ronda Rousey and soon-to-be challenger Becky Lynch is heating up nicely, with the pair going at each other via Twitter ahead of their WrestleMania showdown.

Lynch will take on Rousey for the belt at the upcoming event and fans are looking forward to seeing them go at it even more than they're anticipating the Universal title match between Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins - or so it would seem.

Becky recently took to Twitter to claim that she was underrated and duly pointed out that she's had fewer singles matches at PPVs than Rousey, which is quite something as she's been part of the main roster for two-and-a-half years longer than the Raw Women's champ.

The tweet has since prompted a response from Ronda, who hit back by claiming that her upcoming WrestleMania challenger needs her to remain relevant in the business.

"Unlike you I don’t give a damn about my reputation or how I’m rated," she replied in a tweet. "You claim you’re carrying the WWE, but all you do is cut promos about me, give interviews about me, and tweet me...you need me to have a real chance to get that main event spot at #WrestleMania and you know it."

Hardly missing a beat, Lynch replied to Rousey's tweet.

"Of course, you dope. I run/limp towards the biggest threats in my business, unlike you did in yours," she declared.

Lynch challenged Rousey for her belt last Monday, following her huge Royal Rumble win the night before, and the two are doing quite well to keep fans entertained off-screen.

Additionally, Lynch is expected to make an appearance on this Monday's episode of Raw, so things could get even more interesting.

What This Means

This rivalry is turning out to be pretty spicy. But there are legitimate fears that the WWE could ruin the fight by inserting Charlotte Flair.

Of course, some would love it if the Flair were to be added for what could be a very memorable triple threat bout. But most would prefer the WWE to just leave things as they are.
