Ronda Rousey gave Roman Reigns a special shoutout following her win at WWE Evolution that you might have missed.

Despite Evolution taking place on Sunday and WWE announcing it was pushing ahead with its original Crown Jewel plans, there was something else that stole wrestling headlines last week. Roman Reigns announcement on Raw that he was battling leukemia for the second time in his life. He told the world last Monday night and also relinquished the Universal Title.

Since then, well wishes have been pouring in for The Big Dog. Not just from WWE Superstars and fans, but from every single corner of the wrestling world and beyond. New Japan and Ring Of Honor wished Reigns well on Twitter, and Madison Square Garden did so on the sign outside of the iconic arena. Reigns was also clearly in the thoughts of the women performing at Evolution.

Even though Sunday night was all about the women of WWE, Ronda Rousey took a moment to give Reigns a shout out. After defeating Nikki Bella in the Evolution main event, she sent a get well message to The Big Dog. As you can see in the clip below, Rousey said down the camera "Keep fighting, Roman! All the women are behind you! You got this! Beat leukemia again! We love you!”

Even though Reigns wasn't exactly the WWE Universe's favorite Superstar this time eight days ago, it's refreshing to see fans have been able to separate Reigns the wrestler from Joe the person. It has also become abundantly clear how well liked he is backstage. Almost everyone currently under WWE's employ has taken to social media to let fans know Reigns is basically their locker room leader.

Despite the gravity of Reigns' situation, in WWE the show must always go on. The now vacant Universal Title will now be contested at Crown Jewel between Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar. Meanwhile, it seems as if Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins will be at odds now their fearless Shield leader has had to take some time away from WWE. However, above all else, we wish Reigns well and can't wait to see him back in a WWE ring.
