There is word that NXT international star Kushida is in New York and backstage prior to tonight's SmackDown Live show. Will he debut?

In fact, both Kushia and WWE NXT Superstar Jordan Myles are currently in New York City, according to PWInsider. There is no word on whether or not they are there to debut on either SmackDown Live or 205 Live but there is some buzz that this may be the plan.

WWE has been going all out to make the two Madison Square Garden shows this week memorable. With Stone Cold Steve Austin on last night's Monday Night Raw and The Undertaker scheduled to appear on SmackDown, it makes sense that the company might want to stack the deck with as many appearances and possible surprises as required to ensure no issues ever selling tickets in MSG again.

Kushida To Be Gallagher's Mystery Partner?

205 Live is scheduled to feature Akira Tozawa and Brian Kendrick vs. Jack Gallagher and a mystery partner, and speculation is that the mystery partner may be Kushida. If so, it would be a surprise call-up that didn't have any pre-existing talk might happen before this week.

The other option is that Jordan Myles might be the mystery partner and Kushida appears on SmackDown Live. Both NXT stars have lost a couple of big matches in NXT as of late and that's usually a sign that they may be in line for a main-roster promotion.

Certainly, with the news that these two are backstage, SmackDown Live and 205 Live just became shows worth keeping an eye on, assuming fans weren't already doing so to see The Undertaker in action.

What's your thought? Will either debut tonight? Or, are these two better served to stick with NXT considering the brand is moving over to the USA Network in a week's time?
