It appears Renee Young may have used the show WWE Main Event to introduce fans to a new stable called The Main Event Muscle Men.

The stable consists of Cesaro, Robert Roode and EC3 and, unlike in the past where WWE has thrown three wrestlers together and never pushed them, the company might actually try and make this a stable with some teeth.

As Cesaro came to the ring for his six-man tag, Renee Young said, "Saxton, I got the scoop." She explained that she was a bit of a therapist for EC3 as well as a close friend. He's been going through some tough times but she said, "this put a bit of a twinkle in his eye, teaming up with Roode and Cesaro, even dubbing themselves the Main Event Muscle Men."

Saxton tried to clarify and said, "Hold on a second, they call themselves what?" Young responded, "The Main Event Muscle Men."

What This Means

We'll reserve comment for the actual name itself because it sounds like this could be one of those names, a la The Viking Experience, that fans have a field day with. We'll also try to hold back judgment about how sad it is that this was done on a show that no one really watches. That said, fans shouldn't be upset if these three wrestlers actually receive a strong push by WWE and make something of this new faction.

With Paul Heyman now in charge for creative for Raw, we have no idea if he's behind this or will drop the idea but it's interesting that this is the place and tv show WWE chose to fill fans in on the name and background of the group. Just that they did so suggests there will be more coming from these three men in the future.

There may be no three WWE Superstars as under-used and underrated as Roode, EC3 and Cesaro.
