Rusev is not the kind of guy that you want to get on the bad side of, and a hotel chain may have managed to do just that this week.

Rusev has had an extremely interesting 2018 when it comes to his WWE career. While The Bulgarian Brute was treated as a very big deal when he first arrived on the main roster, his career fell by the wayside a little after that. This year though the former United States Champion has freshened up his gimmick via the introduction of Rusev Day. Fans around the world have been chanting it, even when the Bulgarian isn't on the show.

As is often the case when fans latch on to something that wasn't necessarily from the mind of Vince McMahon, WWE tried to ignore it. Thankfully though it reached a point where it could no longer be ignored, and this weekend at Money In The Bank both Rusev and Lana will be competing in the ladder matches that the PPV is named after. By the time next week, they could very well be Mr. and Mrs. Money In The Bank.

If that does happen, the start of next week will be a lot better than the start of this one for Rusev and Lana. The Lion Of Bulgaria took to Twitter on Monday and revealed that money and a camera had been stolen from his and Lana's hotel room in Memphis. The tweet implies that the hotel's cleaning staff must have taken the cash and the camera as they were the only ones with access to the room.

Sheraton is the hotel chain that Rusev and Lana were staying at in Memphis, and at the time of typing this, they don't seem to have replied to the tweet from the SmackDown Live Superstar. It is very possible that they contacted the couple privately or even sorted the issue out in person though since Rusev and Lana will have probably still been there when the tweet was sent.

Hopefully the issue has been sorted as both The Bulgarian Brute and The Ravishing Russian will have other things on their minds. SmackDown Live is tonight and it will be the final show before Money In The Bank. As mentioned above, both Rusev and Lana will be competing in their respective ladder matches, and both could have guaranteed title shots in their futures by the time MITB comes to a close.
