WWE superstar Samoa Joe returned to Monday Night Raw last week after missing three months with an injury, confronting Roman Reigns a day after he lost to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 34.

Despite WWE teasing a feud between Joe and Reigns in each of the last two weeks, it appears as though the former NXT star may actually be heading to the SmackDown Live brand.

A WWE fan snapped a photo of Joe, presumably in Providence, Rhode Island - the location of tonight's episode. If that's the case, it looks like one of Raw's major stars will be heading over to Paige's brand.

The 39-year-old has had two major pushes on the Raw brand stalled, due to injuries. Shortly after losing out on a chance to become Universal Champion at SummerSlam, Joe suffered a knee injury and would miss two months of action.

Prior to the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, Samoa Joe was one of the biggest favorites to win it all. However, he suffered a foot injury on the Jan. 8 episode of Monday Night Raw in a bout against Titus O'Neil. Not only did Joe have to miss the Royal Rumble, but he was sidelined for WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans as well.

With the United States Championship moving over to Raw (Jinder Mahal brought it over but lost to Jeff Hardy), it's safe to assume Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins will also be moving over to SmackDown Live, presumably along with Joe.

Reigns, Lesnar, Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Bray Wyatt and The Hardy Boyz round up a star-studded group on Raw. Of course, some of those names could also be moved today. But with so many major talents on the red brand, it makes sense to move over a pair of major stars like Joe and Rollins, perhaps more.
