Carmella took a very scary bump during her title match at Royal Rumble. So scary that Sasha Banks can be seen checking to see she's okay.

Wrestling might be staged, but that doesn't mean it isn't dangerous. One wrong move or someone standing even slightly out of position can be disastrous. Even if you do everything exactly right, there are occasions where things will still go wrong. Carmella and Sasha Banks experienced that during their title match at Sunday night's Royal Rumble.

Banks was on the outside of the ring as Carmella lined up for a move she uses all the time. Pretty much in every match she wrestles, as a matter of fact. The suicide dive. A move used by a number of wrestlers which requires them to dive between two ropes and into their opponent on the outside. Beautiful when performed right, but incredibly dangerous if absolutely anything is even slightly off.

Something was slightly off for Carmella and Banks on Sunday night, and it resulted in the former taking a very nasty looking bump. Rather than colliding with Banks and landing safely on her front alongside The Boss, Carmella went face-first into the floor below. It's unclear what went wrong exactly. Carmella may have been moving a little fast, Banks might have been standing too close, or it could have been a combination of the two.

Why it happened doesn't matter. Accidents and mistakes happen on every single wrestling show you will ever watch. What matters is when they do happen, everyone involved is okay. Even though they are bitter enemies on-screen, Banks made sure to subtly check on her opponent as soon as they hit the floor. You can see Banks turn to Carmella and ask her something, and also see her patting and squeezing her back to check she's okay.

Carmella continued the match after the bump and we've not heard anything in regard to an injury, so the assumption is that she is okay. The bump clearly looked a lot worse than it was, but it's a reminder that wrestling can go wrong in the blink of an eye. It was also a touching moment for anyone who noticed Banks checking in, even if it did shatter the wrestling illusion for a brief moment.
