Sasha Banks - who last appeared in WWE at WrestleMania 35 - was advertised for the European tour that begins this week.

But according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, Banks wasn't among the Raw superstars who left for Europe on Monday. Johnson added that she was also scheduled "to film promotional material" on the upcoming WWE 2K game, but it's unknown if she ended up doing so.

And so, Banks doesn't appear ready to return to the WWE anytime soon, and it's really anybody's guess if and when it would happen. She's been absent from television for five weeks now, although rumors have suggested that she could make a return at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view on May 19.

Banks and Bayley were informed at the last minute that they would be dropping the Women's Tag Team Championships to The IIconics at WrestleMania 35. Reports indicated that both were frustrated and disagreed with the decision, believing that they needed a longer run with the newborn titles.

It was also suggested that Bayley and Banks protested by lying on the ground after being told they'd be losing the titles. Bayley has since been moved to the SmackDown Live brand in the Superstar Shake-up. If Banks ends up returning to WWE soon, it remains to be seen if she'll reunite with her tag team partner and jump to the blue brand as well.

But if Banks decides she wants to leave WWE, she's going to have a tough time getting out of her contract. Luke Harper took to Twitter and revealed that he requested to be released, but WWE only added more time to his contract. WWE could end up putting a "freeze" on Banks contract and thus prevent her from leaving for another company.

What This Means

With Banks not showing up for the European tour, it leaves us wondering if she'll even be back in the near future. The upcoming MITB pay-per-view would be a good time and place, but that all remains to be seen.
