Sasha Banks last appeared on WWE programming at the WrestleMania 35 pay-per-view, and there aren't any indications as to when the former Raw Women's Champion could return.

Well, we might finally have an idea on Banks' return. Ringside News noted that The Legit Boss appears on the SummerSlam promotional poster - which could mean that she'll be back in a month's time.

SummerSlam 2019 takes place at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario on Aug. 11. It's one of WWE's "big four" pay-per-view events, along with Royal Rumble, WrestleMania and Survivor Series.

Because SummerSlam is one of WWE's top shows, the creative team often stacks the card while bringing back some big names when we least expect it - so SummerSlam would be perfect time to bring Banks back.

In her last appearance for WWE, Banks and Bayley dropped the Women's Tag Team Championships to The IIconics. It was initially reported that Banks was unhappy and frustrated over having to drop the Tag Team titles, and rumors came about that she wanted to leave WWE altogether.

Banks was given time off to reportedly reconsider her future in WWE. However, wrestling journalist Tom Colohue recently reported that Banks simply "earned" time off after WrestleMania, and that her hiatus "is not being considered as anything too out of the ordinary."

If Banks does come back to WWE in the near future, it'll be interesting to see what they do with her. Bayley switched brands via the Superstar Shake-up and is currently the SmackDown Women's Champion, so it's possible that Banks moves there and continues her program with The Hugger. Otherwise, Banks will stay on Raw, thus ending The Boss 'n' Hug Connection.

What This Means

WWE shouldn't be holding back Banks' return from WWE much longer. It's already been three months, and SummerSlam marks the perfect time to bring her back. With Ronda Rousey, Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss not competing in the ring right now, WWE needs a main eventer like Banks back sooner rather than later.
