Sasha Banks hasn't appeared on WWE programming since WrestleMania 35 three months ago, but all signs are pointing towards a return for The Legit Boss in the immediate future.

The July 22 episode of Monday Night Raw will take place at the Amalie Arena in Tampa Bay, Florida. The arena's website listed the superstars who are "scheduled to appear," and Banks' name was mentioned there.

Not only that, but a source told wrestling insider Brad Shepard that Banks' return to WWE "is imminent." Not only that, but Bayley helped Banks and Alexa Bliss clear things up as the two were reportedly involved in backstage tension.

Banks also appeared on the SummerSlam promotional poster, which was another hint that she would be back in WWE before long - but it seems like we'll be seeing her before the major event on Aug. 11 in Toronto, Ontario.

It was also reported last week that Banks' time away from WWE wasn't being "considered as anything too out of the ordinary," and that she remained in "continual contact" with the company. Add it all up, and it's only a matter of time until the former Raw Women's Champion gets back in the squared circle.

Banks and Bayley dropped the Women's Tag Team Championships to The IIconics at WrestleMania. It was initially reported that Banks was disappointed about having to lose the titles, and that she wanted to quit WWE altogether. Afterwards, it was suggested that WWE gave Banks time off to reconsider her future with the company. But it doesn't matter what the reason was for her hiatus. All that matters is that WWE is about to get one of its marquee superstars back.

What This Means

With Banks likely returning soon, it'll be interesting to see how she'll change up the look of the women's division here. Banks could become a challenger to Becky Lynch's Raw Women's Championship, or she could move to the SmackDown brand and reunite with Bayley - as either a friend or an enemy. There are plenty of options on the table for Banks here, and we'll find out soon enough how it all plays out.
