Amid rumors that The Revival has requested their release from WWE, Sasha Banks has asked Dash and Dawson to take her with them.
All Elite Wrestling has only really existed for about three weeks and the new promotion is already making waves. For starters, it managed to land the services of Chris Jericho, apparently by giving Y2J the best contract of his career. Rumors are also rife of wrestlers currently under contract with WWE potentially jumping ship.
The two names that currently seem destined to be free agents relatively soon are Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder. Earlier this week, it was reported that the pair has asked for their release from WWE. While that news has been neither confirmed nor denied, it wouldn't come as a surprise. It's a widely held belief among fans that The Revival is not being used to their potential.
Dawson added fuel to the rumors this weekend by tweeting "don't matter where we go, we're stealing the show." However, the bigger news coming from his tweet is due to one of the replies. Sasha Banks, who Dawson was replying to in the first place, responded with a GIF asking The Revival to take her with them. That has naturally got people questioning whether Banks wants out of WWE too.
If The Boss does want to leave, she is picking a strange time to do so. While her 2018 wasn't exactly the best, her 2019 is already shaping up to be a big year in WWE. One week from typing this, Banks will take on Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women's Title. Beyond that, it's highly likely we could see her and Bayley become WWE's first ever Women's Tag Team Champions.
The other insinuation by Banks is that since she and Bayley are effectively tag team wrestlers now, she wants to learn all that she can from The Revival. Even if Dash and Dawson do leave WWE in the coming weeks, it's highly unlikely The Boss will follow them out the door. As we said, she has a potentially big 2019 ahead of her. A year that could start with her becoming Raw Women's Champion next weekend.
