There have been many hints and reports to suggest that Sasha Banks will be back in the WWE before long, and the Raw Women's Champion has been training extensively ahead of her expected in-ring return.

Meiko Satomura - who competed in the 2018 Mae Young Classic tournament - shared photos on her Twitter page of Banks training in Japan.

The caption, via Google Translate (hat tip to Ringside News), says "#SashaBanks There is a practice to come to the Senme dojo. She is training very hard. You can tell that you love professional wrestling." In response, Banks expressed gratitude for the experience.

Banks is expected to be back for the July 22 episode of Monday Night Raw - which takes place in Tampa Bay, Florida. The official website for Amalie Arena - the venue for Raw in two weeks - listed Banks as one of the superstars that will be present for the show.

Not only that, but the Legit Boss has also been advertised to appear at the SummerSlam on Aug. 11 in Toronto, Ontario. There have been numerous reports to suggest that Banks will be back in the near future, plus she teased a return in a Twitter interaction with Bayley.

Banks last appeared for WWE at the WrestleMania 35 pay-per-view three months ago, where her and Bayley dropped the Women's Tag Team Championships to The IIconics. It was initially reported that Banks was unhappy about having to drop the titles, which led to WWE giving her time off so that she could reconsider her future with the company. But it was recently reported that her hiatus is nothing out of the ordinary. Whatever the case, Banks appears to be nearing her return to the WWE after a three-month break.

What This Means

It's hard to envision Banks not returning by SummerSlam. WWE must have big plans in store for one of their top superstars, and if Banks does compete at SummerSlam, the creative team will need to build her match up. Add it all up, and Banks should be back in WWE before the end of July.
