Sasha Banks has now missed the last four weeks of Monday Night Raw, having last appeared for the company at WrestleMania 35.

WWE has given Banks time off to reconsider her future with the company, but there aren't any signs that a resolution will be met any time soon - although she could make a return at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view.

It's been known for a while that Banks became disgruntled over a backstage incident at WrestleMania 35 - where her and Bayley lost the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships to The IIconics. Mike Johnson of PW Insider Elite audio (h/t Ringside News), was able to provide more information on the incident:

"The argument that we heard from Sasha Banks’ stand point was that the Women’s Tag Team Titles should have had more credibility established to them and that she and Bayley should have had a longer run with the belts in order to make them look more important they should have had the chance to go to RAW, SmackDown, NXT, and so forth."

It was previously reported that Banks and Bayley had protested by lying on the ground, having learned about the booking decision at the last minute. Banks has since posted a handful of cryptic messages on social media, and she canceled an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show that was supposed to take place after 'Mania.

Banks hasn't said anything about her dissatisfaction with WWE, and she hasn't sounded off on the incident at all. But actions speak louder than words, and spending four weeks away from television now is a telling sign that she's not happy with her place here in the company.

It should be noted that WWE might "freeze" Banks' contract while she continues to sit out, which would be a telling sign that the company isn't willing to release her; keep in mind Luke Harper asked to be let go but only saw more time get added to his contract.

What This Means

Banks obviously has a good reason to be disgruntled with the WWE. The creative team has had far too many title change throughout the years, and it didn't make much sense to end their Tag Team title reign in short time, and at the last minute. If (and probably when) she returns, hopefully Banks will receive another big push with Bayley or somebody else.
