Sasha Banks' recent social media activity could be an indication of her lack of a future with WWE and she's clearly cut the figure of a disgruntled employee. However, she's reportedly working on a WWE project.

The Boss hasn't returned to WWE programming since losing at WrestleMania and if you need any proof that something's indeed afoot, then this would have to be it. At the moment, there's no telling how things will turn out. WWE is understood to have given the four-time Raw Women's champion time to think things through, in the hopes that she will decide to remain but we're almost midway through June and she's yet to return.

Banks has been posting cryptic tweets regarding her career recently and, if nothing else, she seems quite unhappy with her current employers. As to whether or not she'll actually leave is an entirely different thing.

Her latest tweet shows her sitting alone in a wrestling ring and it's captioned: "There was nowhere to go but everywhere...".

Sasha's also recently liked a fan's tweet that was critical of WWE. She unliked the tweet sometime after, but not before Pro Wrestling Sheet's Ryan Satin came across it and took a screenshot, which has since found its way around the web.

According to PWInsider, though, Banks was working on WWE 2K20 content on Monday. The last installment of popular wrestling video game launched in October last year and this upcoming one is likely going to be out around the same time this year.

It is believed that Banks being involved is a sign she could coming back. But her involvement could also be down to the fact that there were already plans for her to be used in its promotion before the issues which have seen her remain out since April.

Additionally, her current disposition - if the reports are true - is as a result of 2K Studios' doing, not WWE's.
