One-half of the former Raw tag team champs, The Revival's Scott Dawson tweeted he'd be seeing Arn Anderson soon, leading to rumors of a move to AEW.

It's been rumored for some time that The Revival might be looking to get out of their contracts with the WWE. They were reported to have turned down contract extensions despite being pushed with Shane McMahon and given the Raw tag team titles until their recent loss on this past Monday's Raw to Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. The rumors had died down but had never quite gone away.

The speculation is back as one-half of the team, Scott Dawson took to Twitter and mentioned former WWE producer Arn Anderson in a post. Responding to a fan, Dawson wrote, "Arn taught us well. See ya soon, Double A."

While this could be little more than the team bumping into Arn somewhere, the buzz now is that Dawson was hinting that he'd be seeing Arn in AEW or at a Starrcast event. Anderson was released by WWE and quickly signed to appear at a Starrcast conference. Speculation is that when he's legally able to, he'll wind up in AEW working as a producer. So, if Anderson is in AEW and the word is that The Revival will end up in AEW, of course, fans have put two and two together.

What This Means

Let the rumors begin. Just when you think the talk of The Revival leaving WWE has quieted a bit, a simple post like this has everyone's ears perked up again. It's hard to know these days is WWE stars are doing it just to get a rise out of fans or if they are actually using their platforms to hint at future plans.

That said, don't expect a jump anytime soon. With Jericho announcing that he's bringing in two mystery partners for his TNT debut in October, The Revival's contracts don't end until April of 2020.
