Seth Rollins already has an impressive history when it comes to competing on the Grandest Stage of Them All.

He became the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania 31, defeating Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns after cashing in his Money in the Bank contract. Rollins also defeated Triple H at WrestleMania 33, avenging himself from getting screwed over by The Game in a Universal Championship match.

However, The Architect hasn't gotten to face his dream opponent at 'Mania yet. In a recent interview with Amarillo Globe-News, Rollins talked about who he'd like to face on the grandest stage most:

“There are a ton of guys I’d love to work with at a Wrestlemania. For me, I want to be in the main event of Wrestlemania selling the tickets to that show. Whether it’s Brock Lesnar or AJ Styles. Either one of those guys I’d love to look toward being in the ring with when the time comes.”

Both Lesnar and Styles would be excellent opponents for Rollins, but it's unlikely these dream matches happen any time soon. Lesnar is widely expected to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 34 this year, while Styles is obviously on the SmackDown brand.

At the start of his wrestling career, Rollins (whose ring name was Tyler Black), actually faced Styles at an NWA show on Apr. 28, 2006:

Styles joined the WWE at the 2016 Royal Rumble - while Rollins was recovering from a torn ACL injury. By the time The Architect returned, Styles was headlining the SmackDown brand - and has done so ever since.

If Rollins were to face Styles at next year's WrestleMania, one of them would obviously have to switch brands. As for Lesnar, his contract is reportedly up at the end of the year - leaving his WWE future in question.

Not every wrestler gets their dream WrestleMania match - just see how hard Sting has tried and failed to get one with The Undertaker. But for Rollins, time is on his side to face at least one of his two desires opponents at a future WrestleMania.
