Seth Rollins is keeping in touch with Roman Reigns as he battles leukemia, but they keep the wrestling talk to a minimum.

It has been almost two months since Roman Reigns came to the ring on Raw and dropped a bombshell on the WWE Universe. You could tell that something wasn't right by the somber way the then-Universal Champion made his way to the ring. When he stepped between the ropes and grabbed a mic, he revealed to the world that he would have to take a hiatus from wrestling to battle leukemia.

We have understandably heard very little from Reigns since then. The last thing anyone would want while battling a disease so serious is constant hounding from fans and the media to find out how he is. The only time he has appeared in public was to watch the Georgia Bulldogs take on Georgia Tech, who he used to play for.

RUMOR: WWE WAS ORIGINALLY PLANNING TO HAVE ROMAN REIGNS FACE THE ROCK AT WRESTLEMANIA 35

During an interview with Iridian Fierro earlier this week, Reigns' good friend Seth Rollins shed a little more light on how The Big Dog is doing right now. The Architect revealed that he talks to Reigns about once a week, but they talk very little about what's going on in WWE. "He doesn’t want to worry about work. He doesn’t want to deal with that headache right now, so it’s mostly just about how he’s doing," Rollins told Fierro.

Apparently, Reigns will ask Rollins about how things are going in WWE every now and again, but for the most part, he probably doesn't care that much right now. We know we wouldn't if we were in his position. The former Intercontinental Champion also revealed that he feels a lot of pressure on Raw right now with Reigns on the shelf. That's why the reaction to his match with Dean Ambrose at TLC will have hurt twice as much.

While no one likely knows when Reigns will recover and be back with WWE right now, it's good to hear that he is keeping in touch with the man who is likely his closest friend in the business. There is also a rumor that Reigns was in attendance for WWE's Tribute To The Troops taping. Whether that's true or not will likely be revealed when the show airs tonight (Thursday, December 20).
