Possible Spoiler On Seth Rollins' Next Feud With Universal Championship

Seth Rollins shocked the world by defeating Brock Lesnar to become the new Universal Champion at WrestleMania 35, but The Architect is going to immediately move on to a new opponent.

According to CBS Philly, Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre is being advertised for the Extreme Rules pay-per-view. Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio also added that Rollins vs. McIntyre is likely going to be the match.

Couple this with the fact that Lesnar isn't being advertised for any post-WrestleMania events, and it's clear that Rollins won't be clashing with the Beast Incarnate any time soon. Lesnar is expected to go back to the UFC almost immediately, so it's unknown when we'll see him in WWE again.

McIntyre has clashed with The Shield over the past few months and has been rumored to be in line for a major push down the road. After making his way through the mid-card, it seems like McIntyre is finally being rewarded for all of his hard work.

McIntyre was in a partnership with Dolph Ziggler, but the two would later feud for a brief period. McIntyre would later form a brief alliance with Baron Corbin and Bobby Lashley, where they feuded with all three members of The Shield.

Reigns faced McIntyre at WrestleMania 35 and defeated him via pinfall, while Ambrose (making his final appearance in WWE), was laid to waste by Lashley on this week's episode of Monday Night Raw.

With Ambrose leaving and McIntyre now feuding with Rollins, it's anybody's guess what the entire Shield storyline will look like now. Reigns will most likely feud with somebody else, and we'll have to wait and see if he'll get involved in the McIntyre-Rollins storyline.

What This Means

With Rollins about to feud with McIntyre, it's another hint that Lesnar won't be back in WWE for a while. As for McIntyre, he's an excellent heel and terrific in-ring perfomer, and is more than deserving of a big push. His feud with Rollins has the chance to be something incredible.
