WWE superstar Seth Rollins has endured plenty of heartbreak as a Chicago Bears fan, but their Wild Card round loss to the Philadelphia Eagles might sting The Architect more than any other previous defeat.
Chicago kicker Cody Parkey missed a game-winning 43-yard field goal with only seconds remaining, as it hit both the upright and the crossbar and failed to sale through. And with that, the NFC North champions see their season come to an abrupt end.
Rollins sent out a short and not-so-sweet tweet immediately after the 16-15 home loss to the defending Super Bowl champions.
Rollins has developed a habit of simply tweeting "I hate football," whenever the Bears lose, and "I love football," anytime they win. He's had to perform the former tweet much more, since the Bears only clinched a playoff spot (and the NFC North division), for the first time in eight years.
Chicago was on the verge of putting the game away twice in the fourth quarter. They needed to stop the Eagles on fourth and goal in the last minute, but Nick Foles found Golden Tate for a two-yard touchdown to give Philly a 16-15 lead.

With that, the Bears failed to secure their first postseason win since 2010, and one of the top surprises of the season is going home. It was a wonderful first year for Matt Nagy as head coach, as he guided Chicago to a 12-4 record.
What This Means
The offseason addition of Khalil Mack paid off big, while second-year quarterback Mitch Trubisky enjoyed an excellent sophomore season. Despite the crushing loss, the Bears have a lot to be excited about for the future.
But at the end of the day, any playoff loss is going to hurt. The Bears made excellent progress in Nagy's first year as head coach, so Rollins and the fans have to be ecstatic about what's to come.
