Seth Rollins Fires Shot At AEW, Says WWE Will "Knock Them Dead"

As WWE prepares to go to war with the rival AEW promotion, Seth Rollins is doing everything he can to keep things afloat in the locker room.

It's been reported that Rollins and Roman Reigns will "lead the charge" against AEW.On top of that, commentator Corey Graves recently explained how competition has led the a "reinvigorated" WWE locker room.

So yes, the WWE superstars are coming together and working as one as they try to hold off AEW. "I was surprised by it. I knew Ambrose needed time away from WWE," Rollins said. "Now he's competition and trying to take dinner off my table & good on him."

And in regards to AEW, Rollins vowed that WWE will "knock them dead, just like we do everyone else." Indeed, the former Universal Champion is more than confident that WWE will take care of business as a new wrestling war begins.

Moxley fired one of the first shots in the WWE-AEW war when he took aim at Vince McMahon and his creative team. After debuting for AEW, Moxley said his goal was to " prove that Vince's way sucks." Moxley also referred to the WWE chairman as "the problem" when it comes to issues of getting ideas through.

Of course, the real war won't really take off until AEW begins its weekly shows, set to debut in October on TNT. Their next show is the All Out pay-per-view that will take place at Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.

What This Means

Rollins has stepped up nicely as the leader of the locker room, as well as the voice of the people in WWE. He's been pushed as the main face of the company here in 2019, so it's no surprise Vince is leaning on Rollins to fire the shots at AEW.
