During The Last Ride Post-mortem episode that followed the fourth episode in the docuseries on The Undertaker, Shane McMahon was a guest and dropped a potentially huge hint about Taker’s wrestling future.

During the show, Shane talked about his relationship with The Deadman, his match history with the legend, and wanting to help The Undertaker find himself after a series of matches that were less-than Taker-like. In detailing his experience at Extreme Rules where he partnered with Drew McIntyre against Roman Reigns and The Undertaker, the entire idea behind the match was one Shane pitched to try and get Mark Calaway’s spark back. Shane believes it worked but he didn’t seem ready to say he was done helping a close friend.

During the segment, Shane legitimately surprised both hosts when he said, “I know I got one more with him. So, I'm ready. I'll challenge him now." The host said to go ahead, and Shane responded, “I just did. I got one more, I know I got one big one. “I want a rematch.” He even said the type of match, "Hell in a Cell 2!"

Again, both hosts jaws sort of dropped as if they were being part of an exclusive or being let it on a secret no one else knew. Shane simply smiled and waited for the show to get back on track.

Could This Be Something WWE Is Working On?

No one seems to know for certain if The Undertaker is done or not. The expectation is that there will be some sort of announcement in the final episode of the series. This may be the first hint by someone not involved to drop a suggestion there may be a future match in the works. At the very least, that Shane is waiting for his rematch.

IF The Undertaker does have more matches, it will likely be against wrestlers that can make him look good. Is Shane that guy? He’s certainly not afraid to take the big bumps.
