Shawn Michaels may be appearing on Raw this Monday to reveal that he will be the referee for Undertaker versus Triple H at Super Show-Down.

While 2018 may be the year of fewer PPVs in WWE, some of those shows have been replaced with big events overseas. Earlier this year, a few short weeks after WrestleMania, WWE headed to Saudi Arabia for Greatest Royal Rumble. Next up on the international list is Melbourne, Australia where WWE Super Show-Down will take place on October 6, 2018.

Despite still being more than a month away, WWE has already announced a few matches for the event. Clearly, the one the company is most excited about is Triple H versus The Undertaker in what is being dubbed a last time ever match. The two surefire WWE Hall Of Famers have engaged in many a famous battle in the past including three clashes on The Grandest Stage Of Them All.

The last time the two of them went face-to-face was inside Hell In A Cell at WrestleMania 28 and on that occasion, Shawn Michaels was the special guest referee. According to Wrestling Inc, there is speculation that the reason HBK will be appearing on Raw this week is to either announce the fact that he will be filling that role again, or be a part of an angle that leads to that stipulation being added to the match at Super Show-Down.

Even though Undertaker versus Triple H is currently the only match really getting any attention on WWE programming right now, there are a number of others that have been preliminarily announced for the show. Ronda Rousey will be teaming up with The Bella Twins to take on The Riott Squad while Daniel Bryan and The Miz will face off once again in a WWE Title number one contender's match.

WWE has a tendency to tell us something is only going to happen once or that it will be the last time that something ever happens, only to give us otherwise further down the line. Take John Cena versus The Rock for example. The match was labeled once in a lifetime and the two had a rematch a year later. This Super Show-Down match will likely be the last ever between Taker and The Game, but then again their last match six and a half years ago was supposed to be too as it was labeled the end of an era.
