The Raw 25 show that will be taking place this Monday is an exclusively WWE Raw celebration. The show has been on the air for 25 years and in that time, a number of big-name stars have come and gone, making the show one of the most successful shows in the history of television.
The WWE has lined up a whos-who of returning WWE Legends and a number of the current Raw roster will play a big part of the show. But what of the SmackDown Live roster, many of whom were a part of the history of the red brand before moving to the blue? Names like Daniel Bryan, who once occupied Raw or Shane McMahon who had some of his most iconic moments on that show, can't be excluded can they?
WWE made an announcement that, in fact, many of these WWE Superstars who now entertain the WWE Universe on Tuesday's will be a part of the anniversary special. Of the names confirmed to appear in New York City - the aforementioned Daniel Bryan, and Shane McMahon will lead a group that also includes WWE Champion AJ Styles, SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte, SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos and The New Day. Others scheduled to appear are Randy Orton, Jinder Mahal, and Natalya.
In total, this means close to 100 past and present superstars will be a part of this once-in-a-lifetime three-hour show. Where the WWE fits everyone is still unclear but one has to expect the Viper will RKO someone, Mahal will have a memorable heel moment with a Legend and Styles might share a moment with The Balor Club?
With this many WWE Superstars, the possibilities are endless but it's good to see that just because Raw is being celebrated, some of the SmackDown cast isn't being ignored. Many were instrumental in getting Raw to where it is today.
