It's not very often that SmackDown Live is the show that everyone is talking about on a Monday, but this week that was very much the case. News broke yesterday that the blue brand will be moving to FOX next year in a deal worth around $1 billion. On Tuesday night though it was time for the focus to return to what's happening between the ropes. They may not have been billion dollar moments, but there were certainly some pretty big moments courtesy of the men and women of Team Blue this week.

5. The Usos Get Their Magic Killed

via wwe.com

Even though the SmackDown Live tag team division is arguably stronger than ever, and currently far better than the tag team scene on Raw, what exactly is going on with the brand's champions, The Bludgeon Brothers? They haven't been defending their titles, and as a matter of fact, haven't been having any matches at all. Well, we now know who their next challengers will be. The Usos went head to head with Gallows and Anderson on Tuesday night in a number one contender's match. SmackDown Live's resident Good Brothers picked up the win, using their devastating Magic Killer in order to get it done.

4. Lana Is The Best! Lana Number One!

via wwe.com

If you are avid viewers of Total Divas, then you will know that Lana had to basically beg and plead for WWE to let her have more opportunities to compete in the ring. That's how you know that the moment that she had on SmackDown Live this week would have meant an awful lot to her. TheRavishing Russian needed to defeat Billie Kay in order to qualify for the Money In The Bank ladder match, a tall order considering she has never won a singles match before. Well, now she has. Lana delivered an impressive kick to the head of Billie Kay, knocking her loopy, swiftly followed by a Bella Buster and then the all-important three count.

3. Cesaro With The Unwilling Assist

via wwe.com

While The Miz was on Raw it's fair to say that he enjoyed quite a bit of success, especially when it came to the Intercontinental Championship. The thing is on Monday nights The Awesome One always had his beloved Miztourage fighting his corner. That isn't the case on the blue brand and that showed when he took on Big E in Tuesday night's opening match. The New Day member had his loyal tag team partners at ringside to help out if things went awry but Miz had nobody. That was until The Bar came sprinting to the ring. When they arrived, chaos ensued, as you can see above. Kofi Kingston leaped off of Cesaro just so that he could fly into and take out The Swiss Cyborg's partner in crime, Sheamus.

2. AJ Styles Is Out For The Count

via wwe.com

Shinsuke Nakamura's win over AJ Styles in last week's main event meant that he got to select the stipulation for the pair's upcoming WWE Championship match. That stipulation had to be announced on SmackDown Live this week, however, in true heel Nakamura style, he couldn't simply just reveal it. Instead, he wound up The Phenomenal One to the point that the both of them ended up brawling at ringside. The King Of Low Blows used a steel chair to gain the upper hand after struggling against Styles and then finished him off with a kinsasha right alongside the announce table. Styles stayed down for a ten count and with that, Nakamura announced that their match at MITB will be Last Man Standing.

1. Bryan Tries To Break Hardy In Half

via wwe.com

If you thought that 2017 was a good year for wrestling, and it was, then get a load of 2018 so far. The Daniel Bryan dream matches alone that we're being treated to are enough to have you pinching yourselves, and we got another one on this week's SmackDown Live. Bryan went one on one with Jeff Hardy in a first time ever match in what was dubbed by Paige as a second chance match. It was called that because both men have already had chances to qualify for the MITB ladder match, but a win this week would earn them an opportunity against Samoa Joe next Tuesday in another qualifier. Bryan won, and he did that by turning the tide with the above move. Hardy tried to finish him off with a Swanton Bomb, but Bryan got his knees up and almost snapped his opponent in half.
