Sting and Others Spotted Backstage At Tonight's Monday Night Raw

It has been rumored that both Shawn Michaels and Sting, among others, could be making appearances on tonight's Raw in celebration of Ric Flair's 70th birthday party.

With Ric Flair's promoted party getting set for tonight's Raw broadcast, the show was already shaping up to be a big one. Roman Reigns was set to return and give an announcement/update on his health and now there is speculation some former WWE stars might be showing up as well.

Ricky the Dragon Steamboat was rumored as was Shawn Michaels who earlier on Monday tweeted that he would divert his UK flight to ensure he was at Raw to celebrate with Flair. It is being reported beyond that, Sting has been seen backstage. Sting hasn't appeared on live WWE television since being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2016.

Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch are also rumored to appear.

What This Means

WWE is going all out for the Flair celebration and it will be interesting to see who else shows up. At his recent birthday party, there were a number of celebrities on hand including Evander Holyfield, Charles Barkley, Dennis Rodman and even Chris Jericho. Could any of these personalities make an appearance as well? We don't have any clear indication that Sting or Michaels will be on television but it only makes sense if they are there to have them as part of the show.

Between Reigns and these returning WWE Superstars, this is sure to be a can't miss show on Monday. Flair's big birthday bash might not tell a lot when it comes to future storylines or ideas heading into WrestleMania 35, but it will be an emotional moment for wrestling fans. Hopefully, WWE chooses to put it on the air and not save it for after the cameras stop rolling on live tv.
