It's been nearly four years sting Sting last wrestled in WWE, as a neck injury and subsequent surgery forced him to retire in 2016.

But "The Vigilante" hasn't fully ruled out retirement, and he recently said he'd come back into the ring for "the right price." Well, the opportunity is knocking- because Bray Wyatt made it clear that he wants his shot at the wrestling legend.

Wyatt has become one of the hottest things in the wrestling world since debuting "The Fiend" gimmick. It seems like he's in line for a massive push, and giving Wyatt the opportunity against Sting would obviously do special things for the direction of his character.

Fortunately for Wyatt, the feeling appears to be mutual.

Sting appeared at Starrcast II and was asked which current superstars he'd like the chance to go up against, and The Icon placed Wyatt on his wish list.

"The big guys, you know like Leon White — Braun Strowman would be a good one," Sting said, according to Ringside News. "I’d love to have something with Braun Strowman. I think we’d have some good matches. Bray Wyatt’s another one I’d love to work with."

That will lead to speculation that Sting could come out of retirement and go up against Wyatt. The latter's gimmick has similar qualities to "The Crow" character that Sting donned: Spooky, mysterious and horror-themed. So a match between the two superstars, provided Sting is healthy, would be nothing short of intriguing and memorable.

It should be noted, however, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter recently reported that WWE isn't keen on clearing Sting. It was outlined that they'll "never risk" him suffering a neck injury, and the thought of having him wrestle again "is not even broached."

Sting is now 60 years of age, so if he were to come back and wrestle again, there would have to be extra cautious training and preparation - and WWE would have to be careful with having him take as few bumps as possible.

What This Means

The rumors about Sting wrestling again will never go away, since he refuses to rule out the possibility of another match. If WWE were to clear Sting, hopefully he'd go up against Wyatt - because that match would have all the makings to be something special.
