WWE Legend Stone Cold Steve Austin has some high praise for both Roman Reigns and Cesaro after their bout on Raw.

Roman Reigns and Cesaro are a classic tale of two very similar men heading in very opposite directions. Both are among the most gifted, athletic and talented in-ring performers of the PG Era.

Currently, the Swiss Superman—along with tag team partner Sheamus—are embroiled in a heated feud with The Shield. On this week's episode of Monday Night Raw, Reigns and Cesaro engaged in an epic one-on-one match that saw the former retain his Intercontinental Championship.

That match drew major praise from one of the most iconic wrestlers in history, Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Austin has been one of Reigns' biggest supporters, despite the latter's questionable main event push over the last three years. Earlier this summer, The Texas Rattlesnake called Reigns "a star," and that "WWE needs to continue to go down the path they’re going with him." Austin also referred to him as "a top guy on that roster."

For Reigns, the main issue has been his lack of microphone skills that have caused many fans to find him boring and dull, hence why he's been booed so much. However, Reigns has been receiving more cheers as he feuds with a genuine pair of heels in Cesaro and Sheamus.

Reuniting with The Shield—by far the most popular and dominant faction of the PG Era—also helped Reigns regain valuable momentum. He's continued to put on high-quality matches, which has also helped Reigns launch himself into the main event card once again.

The early expectation is that Reigns will face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans. He's already headlined the past three pay-per-view events, but defeating Lesnar on the Grandest Stage of Them All could continue to help Reigns become the next face of the WWE.

We know Austin is on his side. Will the fans be in four months' time?
