Terry Crews called out WWE for stealing his name and giving it to Apollo Crews.

Just this past week, another WWE performer fell victim to the one name on the main roster thing, following Antonio Cesaro, Alexander Rusev, Adrian Neville and others, this time it was Apollo Crews, who will now go as just Apollo, but it wasn’t just wrestling fans that reacted to this news. One person that reacted was Terry Crews, who here claimed that WWE stole his name to give to Apollo when he debuted;

This is obviously all hearsay, but it definitely is something that we believe WWE would do, and in later tweets, he would go on to explain that they did this because negotiations broke down between the two sides for a working relationship. Even if it was something that WWE did on purpose, you can definitely see why, because Apollo is certainly build in the same mold as the former NFL player turned actor, and it’s probably not a big deal, but I doubt that Crews would be saying something like that for no reason.

Following that first Tweet, a fan made the remark that the WWE missed out on a great tag team here, and bringing in Crews definitely would have helped Apollo had the WWE done something like this, but Crews replied here, with further indication that there was some bad blood between the two sides;

So what do you guys think? Is this something that WWE would have done to get back at Terry Crews for their deal falling apart? Do you side with WWE on this one? Is Apollo a much better name without the Crews at the end of it? As always, let us know all your thoughts and ideas in the comment section below.
